How to Prepare for a Dental Emergency

When it comes to dental emergency preparation, there are some things you can do that can potentially help ease the stress of the situation. First off, we recommend keeping our phone number (248) 293-5300 in a few handy locations such as on your fridge and in the contacts on your phone. When an emergency strikes, we want you to be able to call us as soon as possible.

We also advise that you keep some dental-related items in your first-aid kit. These items include a small container to hold a knocked-out tooth, clean gauze, examination gloves, hydrogen peroxide, and an ice pack.

Handling a Dental Emergency

If you’re experiencing any abnormal dental pain or dental trauma, the best course of action is to contact our office right away. Dental emergencies appear differently in every patient and seeking a dental professional’s opinion is the only way to know how severe your case is. Even if you’re not in pain, we still recommend contacting our office as quickly as possible.
